[2]: be a child. To be called a child. Renewal. Rebirth (ቲቶ፫: ፭። ማቴ፲፱: ፳፰). The scholars of Debre Libanos, when they deeply and extensively interpret and explain birth, enumerate it thus: Birth is in two ways: by nature and by action/ deed. Natural birth is resembling and being equal to a natural father and a natural mother. It should not have superiority or inferiority. Because of this, our Lord, in His natural birth, since He had no twin or youngerresembling succeeding brother; He is called the only begotten Son (ወልድ ዋሕድ) to both His Father and His Mother, not the firstborn (በኵር) For it is a singular (ባሕታዌ) birth in both His humanity and His divinity; If we were to give Him firstborn status apart from His onlybegottenness, He would not accept it, as it is not His inherent possession like His onlybegottenness. But birth by action/ deed is an example of natural birth; Just as an example is less than and not equal to the true one, so also birth by action/ deed is not equal to natural birth; It is equal only in being called "birth” in name only. And its manner of coming into being is just as it says, "Without any doubt, the greater person blesses the lesser” (ዕብ፯: )Having been blessed and appointed by the greater and preceding one; It is being called father and son solely through giving and receiving the gift of sonship and the name of sonship, without actual begetting or being begotten. Nathan and David in prophecy” I will be his father, and he will be my son.” (My son, you are) "and today I have begotten you.” As it says, "He will call out to me, You are my Father, and I will make him my firstborn.” And the angel in the annunciation said, "The holy one to be born of you will be called the Son of the Most High."And the scholars, connecting this, say, "Let us call him son; behold, he has become a son to us by grace."And he was established as the Son of God by the power of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Their saying, "If we liken his birth to ours, by whom do we resemble being children of God in the Spirit.” refers to this birth by action/ deed.

Birth by action/ deed or by grace aligns with brothers by grace and fellow heirs, but not with the begetter and the appointer; This is evident in "whom the Father consecrated and sent into the world."As it is known by His saying, "the Father is greater than I". He made us joint heirs with Him in the Holy Spirit.

He said, "I will declare your name to my brothers"; this is so that the greatness of the glory He gave them might be revealed, so that they might be reconciled. For He is the head, and we are the members and sharers with Him through inheritance (ቄር። አፈ: ድ፬። ). And birth by action/ deed is fulfilled later in the resurrection; Until then, it is called a pledge/ earnest (ሮሜ፮: ፱። ፪ቆሮ: : ፳፩: ፳፪። : ). This is to be known that the Apostle mentioned "today I have begotten you” a second time concerning the resurrection. And the scholar said, “ወውእቱ ቅድመ ዘተወልደ እሙታን"He is the firstborn from the dead". (ግብ፲፫: ፴፫። ሃይ: አበ: ቄር). The birth of the pledge/ earnest and the resurrection is one, not two; But the interpretation of the Gospel, counting them separately, says the four births of Christ. Even so, this shows it being called the birth of the resurrection, not fourthness; For the pledge/ earnest is like a fetus, and the resurrection is like birth.
