ኵሉ/ Kʷəllū: All, everything; it surrounded, it encompassed.

(ኵላ ኵሎሙ ኵሎን) All, the whole; its entirety, the complete; not even one missing. ኵሉ ዓለም፤ ኵላ ምድር፤ ኵሎሙ ዕደው፤ ኵሎን አንስት።All the world; all the earth; all his hands; all the women. ኵሉ ቀላያት፤ ኵሉ ዕፀው፤ ኵሉ አሕዛብ።All the rivers; all the trees; all the nations. Since / lu is a distant possessive pronoun, the multiplication of ኵልሁ/ kʷəllū does not agree with the possessive pronouns for the near ones except for the distant ones; and in the accusative case, they do not change from lu except for / la and / lō. Furthermore, instead of saying ኵሉ ሎሙ ሎን/ kʷəllū, lā, lōmu, lōn, one can multiply only ኵል/ kʷəll like one to ten, saying ኵልሁ ልሃ ልሆሙ ሆን / kʷəlhu, lhā, lhōmu, hōn. Since one and all are one in mystery, instead of saying አሐዱ አሐዱ/ ʾaḥādu ʾaḥādu, it says ኵሉ ኵሉ/ kʷəllū kʷəllū; or combining it, it says ኵሉ አሐዱ / kʷəllū ʾaḥādu, meaning not even one is missing (ስንክ: ሐም፳፯). Except for the vocative, ኹሉ/ kʷəllū as an adjective and possessive pronoun is sufficient for all plural nouns that have internal plurality; for more than one, and even for one, from two to a thousand, divided or undivided, it is said for many and for few. ኵሉ ሕዝብ፤ ኵሉ ፍጥረት፤ ኵሉ ነፍስ ይሴብሖ፤ ቅጽል።All the people; all creation; let every soul praise him; adjective. ኵልክሙ ተዐልዉኒ፤ እመሂ ኵሎሙ ዐለዉከ፤ ወኵሎሙ ሰማዕተ ኮኑ፤ ዐጸፋ።You all have seen me; even if all of them have seen you; and all became witnesses; possessive pronoun. ኵሉ ላንድ መነገሩ ባንድነቱ ውስጥ ብዙ ክፍላት ብዙ ሕዋሳት ስላሉ ነው፤ ኵሉ ሕንጻ፤ ኵሉ መሌሊት፤ ኵሉ ሥጋሁ፤All has passed away; Lord of all; and all will perish like a garment; sufficient. ኵሉ/ Kʷəllū is said for one because in its oneness there are many parts, many members; all the building; all the night; all his flesh; and the like. But the Geez book, in a scribes error, says, In him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (ቆላ፪: ). The example of the Greek; and all that is taken from the Greek; for it says, For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and not all his Godhead. ኵሉ / Kʷəllū is not said in any language for only one that does not have internal plurality and does not agree to be divided; and that which has the fullness of the Godhead is perfect grace. And this reading does not agree with full of grace and truth, but with the Word became flesh and dwelt among us; it is very far (ዮሐ፩: ፲፬). ከለሜዳ ኬልቄዶን / Kälämēdā Kēlqēdōn.

Also in the accusative case, except for ኵልየ/ kʷəllyä, ኹሉ/ kʷəllū inherits / , / in the five. “ዕቀብ ኵልነ።Keep us all. “ከመ ትቅትል ኵልነSo that you may kill us all (ሊጦም። ዘፀ፲፮: ).

ኵልሄ ኵለሄ/ Kʷəlhē Kʷälehē: (ኵል ) Always, every time, perpetually. Because ከራድዮን/ Karādyōn and ካራድርዮን/ Kārādrəyōn are similar, it says ከራድዮን/ Karādyōn instead of ካራድርዮን/ Kārādrəyōn (ዘዳ፲፬: ፲፰).

Name of a city; located in Asia Minor in the country of Turkey; near Constantinople; in the year ፬፻፶፩ after the birth [of Christ], the Greek King Marcian and his wife Pulcheria gathered ፮፻፴፮ bishops, three hundred times two, because of the supremacy of their kingdom, and established a great council greater than all councils; where those like Ibas and Theodoret entered, who had previously been condemned with Nestorius in Ephesus, and later, after their death, Vigilius, the descendant, cursed and excommunicated them with their books at the Council of Constantinople; where Dioscorus, the Archbishop of Alexandria, and Macarius, and other teachers, and four bishops who came from Syria and Armenia were added, and these six were separated. See the reason in the history of the church; the history is divided into two parts: the first is of Egypt, Syria, and Armenia; the second is of Greece and Rome. The history of the Greeks does not agree with the words of the ቅዳሴውና ከድርሳኑ/ Qəddase and the dərsan (homily) written by Dioscorus, it is like eye and dust; and to know this, the Ethiopian Catholics, having refined the fruit of the Qəddase with the scholars of Rome and having obtained permission from the Pope, celebrate it because it is free from falsehood, error, and obscenity. They have only changed its name in the title, calling it አኰቴተ ቍርባን ዘቅዱስ ዲዮስቆሮስ/ ʾAkʷōtētä Qʷərbān Zäqədūs Diyōsqōrōs (Praise of the Offering of Saint Dioscorus) instead of ዲዮናስዮስ/ Dionysius; and this Qəddase was composed and written while he was in Gangra; just as it is found written in Geez, it is also found in other languages, in Syriac, Armenian, Greek, and Latin. Seeing is better than hearing; so examine the Qəddase from beginning to end; you will find it saying One Person, Two Natures. Secondly, in the ሃይማኖተ አበው / Haymānōtä ʾAbāw (Faith of the Fathers), to explain why Dioscorus was separated, a short excerpt or message from his own book is brought, which speaks of the meaning of Person, Nature, and Hypostasis, in the Dərsan of Baba Benyamin, where it says, And again he said, Dioscorus, the faithful head of the bishops of Alexandria, in his letter which he wrote to Berthir while he was in Gangra, said, “ይቤ፤ አንሰ ረከብኩ ነገረ እንዘ ኣነብብ መጻሕፍቲከ ዘፈኖከ ሊተ ምስለ ሰበእ መትሕላን እለ ኢኮነ ፍጹማነ ወአልቦሙ አእምሮ ጥዩቀ፤I found a matter while reading your books which you sent to me with unreliable men who were not perfect and had no profound understanding; examine it from the beginning to the end. And it is said that the reason for writing the letter was that the Copts, having quarreled in the Orthodox tradition and become two factions, wrote their own book; and a man named Berthir, having added his own book, sent it with two monks.

Just as Jesus Emmanuel is the name of his calling that came forth through the Incarnation, so too Christ is the name of his anointing. The Word, who by his nature has anointing and office and does not need a second birth, is called the firstborn and the first in name to be the Second Adam for the children of Adam and Eve who need to be born again; but the same Word, in his Sonship being Son and in his Anointedness being the Anointed Christian, having become man and been anointed, is called Christ (ዳን፬: ፳፭። ማቴ፩: ፲፮). ኢይጽሕቅ ቅብዐተ በህላዌሁ፤ አላ በሥምረቱ ተሠጊዎ ነሥአ ቅብዐተ።He does not need anointing in his being; but by his will, having condescended, he took anointing. For he was anointed through his incarnation (ቄር). And he was called your Christ because he was anointed with us as a man, as the word of David said concerning ChristYou have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness 1 beyond all your companions who are your partakers; and that oil is the Holy Spirit (Faith of the Fathers, Cyril). He interpreted the Holy Spirit, which is called the oil of gladness, because wealth and anointing belong to him. But those who say the Son is the Anointing while calling the Holy Spirit oil confuse and mix the mystery of the Incarnate and the Anointed, saying that Christ means the One who is one Person from two Persons, one Nature from two Natures, the Glorified Unity through the Incarnation, and they interpret anointed as incarnated without grammar, without language, without order, without reason; see Anointed and Unity. The Incarnate Word, in his Incarnation, was not anointed with the Holy Spirit, was not filled with the gifts of the Spirit, did not receive grace, was not ordained to priesthood and kingship by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the glory of his humanity was not glorified—to say this is as false as saying heaven is not heaven and earth is not earth; and these people do not know the name of Christ and teach what is not fitting. እለሰ የአምኑ ርቱዐ ይሜህሩ ከመ በሥጋሁ ተቀብዐ።But those who believe rightly teach that he was anointed in his flesh. እስመ ክርስቶስ ብሂል ቅቡዕ ብሂል።For Christ means anointed. ወእፎ ይሰመይ ክርስቶስ ዘኢተቀብዐAnd Saint Cyril rebuked them, saying, How is he called Christ if he was not anointed? And the Apostle also rebuked them (: ዮሐ: : ፳፪). Just as in the Old and New Testaments and among the Fathers, it is not said that oil anointed oil, so too the Son himself, being the Anointing himself, was not said to have been anointed by the Son; to say the Son is the Anointing according to the tradition of Nestorius makes the Incarnation a dwelling, and makes the Son, who is Unity, into two, and bestows the name Christ only upon the flesh, taking the Word out of being called Christ and Messiah. Since Anointing and the Anointed, the Dweller and the Dwelling, the Substance and the Accident, the Spirit and the Word are two kinds of words and two distinct Persons, different in name and action, they cannot be called one or referred to by one name in any language, let alone in Geez; it is like licking with the nose or marrying two heads in one hat. The Son, being one Person, one Child through the Incarnation, perfect God and perfect Man, having unity with the Father in being the Anointer and with us in being the Anointed, is called Anointer and Anointed, but is not called Anointing like the Holy Spirit; and the Father should not be called Anointing.

Or perhaps the translator indicated ሙራዱ/ murād in the margin for what the translator called ግብረ ኮሬሁ/ gəbrä kōrēhu, and a later scribe added it. In many texts, even the translation, the verse, and the commentary are found written together; because writing and learning were not combined and completed in one persons hand.

ኮቶሊክ/ Kōtōlik: (ጽር ካቶሊክ) Name of the church; universal; of all, that is above all.

ኮነ/ Kōnä: To be, to become; to exist. Being the beginning of a matter, it attracts like the verse ይቤ/ yəbē (he said), becoming the heading of a reading. “ወኮነ እምድኅረ ሞተ ሙሴ፤ ተናገሮ እግዚ ለኢያሱ።And it came to pass after the death of Moses; the Lord spoke to Joshua. “ወኮነ እምድኅረ ሞተ ሳኦል፤ ተመይጠ ዳዊት እምቀትለ ዐማሌቅ።And it came to pass after the death of Saul; David returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites. “ወኮነ በውእቱ መዋዕል፤ ወፅአ ትእዛዝ እምኀበ ቄሳር ንጉሥAnd it came to pass in those days; a decree went out from Caesar the king (ኢያ፩: ፩። ፪ነገ: : ፩። ሉቃ፫: ). Secondly, when it is placed on a prophetic verse, its mystery and meaning become firm. To say “ኮነ ያፈቅር፤ ኮነ ይጐይይ፤ ኮነ ይትመዐዕkōnä yaʾəfäqqər, kōnä yəgʷäyyəy, kōnä yətmäʿäʿ, means he used to love or he will love, it makes it seem like it happened. Also, the phrase “ዐጸደ ወይን ኮነ ለሰሎሞንʿaṣädä wäyn kōnä läsälōmōn (Solomon had a vineyard) is said to have a firm ኮነ/ kōnä; and even if ኮነ/ kōnä is omitted and it is said “ሎቱ ለሰሎሞlōtu läsälōmōn (Solomon had), it means he had, he possessed. Thirdly, the negative of his adultery, in which I do not agree, is resolved by multiplying the negatives with ʾīnā, ʾākō, and the existing form; because the speaker and the respondent have placed them out of order. As for me, I was not him “አንሰ ኢኮንኩ ኪያሁ(ʾīkōnku kīyāhu). It is not good to take the childrens bread and give it to the dogs “ኢኮነ ሠናየ ነሢአ ኅብስተ ውሉድ ወውሂብ ለከለባት።(ʾīkōnä śänäʾye näsīʾa ḫəbstä wəlūd wäwəhīb läkäläbāt). It was not for you to know the times and the seasons “ኢኮለ ለክሙ ታእምሩ መዋዕለ ወአዝማነ።(ʾīkōlä läkəmu tāʾəməru mäwāʿəl wäʾäzmānä). You were merchants and travelers “ኦኮንክሙ ነግደ ወፈላሴ።(ʾōkōnkəmu nägdä wäfälāse). It is not good; not for you; not you; or it means “ኢሠናይ፤ ኢለክሙ፤ ኢአንትሙ፤ ወይም አኮ አንትሙ ነገድ ወፈላሲʾākō ʾäntəmu nägäd wäfälāsi (you are not merchants and travelers) አኮና / ʾākō and ʾī are one. Kōnä in Geez attracts when it finds a substitute and a complement; sometimes it also attracts län instead of Geez. And its fruit will be for food, and its leaves for healing (ሕዝ፵፯: ፲፪). There are those who count the resolutions of ኮነ/ kōnä as 30; their evidence is not convincing; much of it is fiction. ኮነና ሀሎ/ Kōnä and hālō (to be, to exist) are somewhat the same in Arabic and Hebrew; Arabic says kāna and means he was, he existed; and Hebrew also says hāyāh and means he was, he existed; so the method of resolving kōnä is numerous because of this. Furthermore, instead of saying “ኮነኒ ኮነነ በቍዐኒ አከለኒkōnänī kōnänä bäqʷäʿanī ʾakälänī (he became me, he became us, he satisfied me, he fed me), it says ኮንየ/ kōniyä, which is a translators and scribes error. “ስእነት ብሂለ ኮንየ፤ እሳት ወማይ ኢይብሉ ኮንየŚəʾənnät bəhīlä kōniyä; fire and water do not say kōniyä (ምሳ፳፬: ) (ዕር፱: ቍ፸፯። ዕር፳፯: ቍ፻፷፰).

ኰንኖ ኖት/ Kʷännō nōt: (ኰነነ ይዄንን ይኰንን። ዕብ ኮኔን፤ አዘጋጀ) To condemn; to judge; to criticize; to decide, to sentence. “ይትነሣእ እግዚ ለኰንኖ።The Lord will rise up to judge. “ኢትኰንኑ ከመ ኢትትኰነኑ።Do not judge, so that you will not be judged. “ዘይኴንን በጽድቅ።He who judges with righteousness. “ቦኑ እግዚ ይኴንን በዐመፃDoes the Lord judge with injustice?
