ሚ/ Mi: (ዕብ ሚ፤ ማ፤ ሜ) An interrogative and
investigative particle; a particle of wonder. Ma who; min what. “ሚ የዐቢ እምረኀብ ወሚ ያሐምም እምነ ቍር።” Mi is greater than
hunger, and mi is more painful than cold. “ምንት አነ ወሚ ዘመድየ።” What am I, and who is
my relative. “ሚ ትርጓሜሁ ለቃል” Mi is the meaning of
the word: (አፈ: ተ፳፰። ዮዲ፲፪: ፲፬። ፊልክ: ፷፭).
: How much; how many; how much. How beautiful. How many. “ሚ በዝኁ። ሚ መጠን” How much: (ማሕ፬: ፲። መዝ: ፫። ቅዳ). ሚ ወሚ/ Mi and mi say what and what; who and who.

that is placed every thousand meters is called a mile.
ሚመ/ Mime: (ሚ፤ መ) A minor particle; a
word of improvement and choice, of question. Or, or else. Mi and me have
encountered and become one side; yes and no, min and men. “እምሰማይኑ ወሚመ እምሰብእ።” Was it from heaven or
from men. “ምንት እምንኀሶሙ ለእለ ተፈጥሩ፤ ሚመ ተፈጥሮ ወሚመ ኢተፈጥሮ።” What is from the dust
for those who were created; was it created or not created. “አየኬ ዘወለደት ድንግል፤ ሚመ ትስብእተ ወሚመ መለኮተ” Which one did the

ሚሶር/ Misor: (ዕብ ሚሾር) Plain; A field; flat,
straight, level; like a meadow; it means upright. (ተረት/ proverbs ) “ሰፊ ሜዳ እንደ ወግዳ ” A wide plain like a field: (ኢያ፲፫: ፲፮).
ሚሻሑ/ Mishah.u: (ዕብ ሜይ ሳሑ) Deep water; Mi water;
shiloach sent, main; in combination, sent water. It means deep, profound, which
a foot soldier cannot dare, but a main one crosses: (ሕዝ፵፯: ፭).
ሚበዝኁ/ Mibzhhhu: The name of a poem; which appears in the 3rd psalm,
having 3 lines.
ሚን/ Min: Deceit: Concealment, evil, trickery; evil counsel, deception (ፑሊቲክ). “ቅንአት ወቃሕው ወሚን።” Jealousy, hatred, and
deceit. “ሰይጣነ ስብሐት ብጡል ብዙኀ ሚን ወእከይ” Satan, empty of
glory, full of deceit and evil: (ፊልክ: ፶፮). “አይቴ ሀሎ ኀይልከ ወሚንከ ዘትገብሮ በላዕለ ሰብእ” Where is your power
and your deceit that you do against men: (ገድ: ተክ).
ሚዓ ሜዓ/ Miaa mieaa: (ብ ሜዓት፤ አምያዕ) Myrrh; A good
fragrance, pure, melted, sweet. “ከርቤ ሰሊክ ሚዓ።” Myrrh, frankincense,
myrrh. “ማርያም ገነተ ሚዓ ወሰሊክ።” Mary is a garden of
myrrh and frankincense. “ስኂን ወሚዐ ወሰሊኆት” Cinnamon, myrrh, and
frankincense: (ገድ: አዳ። ስንክ: ጥቅ፳፩። አርጋ: ፯).
ሚካኤል/ Michael: (ዕብ) The name of an
angel; an archangel; ሚ/ mi who; ካ/ ka like; el God; in combination, it means who
is like God..
ሚክያስ/ Micah: (ጽር። ዕብ ሚካህ) means who is like
God: (ሔኖ። ዳን: ፲፪: ፩። ይሁ: ፱። ራእ፲፪: ፯).
ሚክሎል/ Miklol [1]: (ዕብራ) A precious garment; a perfect
ornament, a perfect reward: (ሕዝ፳፫: ፲፪).
[2]: A perfect ornament; he
surrounded, he surrounded.
ሚዘብ/ Mizeb: Drain: (ሐባብ) A ditch; a drain; a

ሚዛን/ Mizan: (ዐረ እልሚዛን) Scale; justice, a

: The name of a star; its appearance resembles a scale, the star of
Meskerem (September/ October). It nourishes with the sun for 30 days and 10
degrees: (አቡሻ: ፬). It is called scale
not only because of its appearance but also because of its function; through
it, food and drink, and on the 21st day of Meskerem, day and night become
equal.
ሚዜ/ Mizie: (ትግ ማዛይ። ዕብ ሚይ ዜ፤ መኑ ዝ) Best man; Amharic.
The friend of the groom; the grooms attendant; the grooms persuader, his equal,
his likeness; because of his persuasion, the brides relatives admire and ask,
Who is this. (ዮሐ፩: ፲፱። ፫: ፳፱).
ሚዝት/ Mizt: Bride: a female bride, the grooms partner,
his wife. See መሐዘን (sorrow) it is the
root and foundation of ሚዜ (best man) and ሚዝት (bride). But some people, following the
sound, say that ሚስት (wife) means the
seed of mese, and they are defeated by the reading of ኅብስት (bread).
ሚያዝያ/ Miyazya: April: Mazia; the name of the eighth month from Meskerem;
the month of scales and brides, when they say who is who: (መዝ: ፳፫። ኪዳ). In the month of
May, according to our countrys custom from ancient times, there are no
marriages or weddings; therefore, April is called the month of scales. But May

April. “በቀዳሚ ወርኅ ብሩህ ዘውእቱ ሚያዝያ” In the first bright
month, which is April: (ዘፀ፴፬: ፲፰። ዲድ: ፳፬).
ሚጠት/ Mit.et [1]: A returning; he returned, he turned.
[2]: (ታት) A returning; a turning around. “እሬስያ ኅቡረ ለሚጠቶሙ።” He will restore them
together to their place. “ሚጠተ ብርሃናተ ሰማይ።” The return of the
lights of heaven. “እምቅድመ ሚጠታት ዘብርሃናት።” Before the returns of
the lights. “በሚጠተ ገጸ እግዚ እምኔነ” At the turning of the
face of the Lord from us: (ሚክ፪: ፲፪። ሔኖ፸፪: ፩። ቅዳ: ዲዮ። ዮሴፍ).
: A changing; a transformation. “ሚጠተ የአምኑ ላዕሌሁ ለዘኢየአምር ሚጠተ።” “ሰድ መጽሐፈ ኀበ ንጉሠ ምዕራብ፤ ወለእመ ነሣእከ ሚጠተ እምኔሁ ተመየጥ ኀቤየ” The conversion of
those who believe in Him to those who do not know conversion. “ዘእንበለ ሚጠት” Without conversion: (ቄር። ቅዳ).
: An answer, a reply to a question or a letter. “ሰድ መጽሐፈ ኀበ ንጉሠ ምዕራብ፤ ወለእመ ነሣእከ ሚጠተ እምኔሁ ተመየጥ ኀቤየ” He sent a letter to
the king of the West; and if you receive an answer from him, return to me: (ዮሴፍ).
ሚጣን/ Mit.an: Change: This village is the same; a change, an exchange. “ጽዱቅ ወክቡር ነገረ እግዚ፤ ወአልቦ ወኢምንትኒ ሚጣን በኀበ እለ ቦሙ አእምሮ” The word of the Lord is righteous and honorable; and there is no change or anything like it with those who have understanding: (መቃ: ገ፲).
